So it's been widely documented that ESPN is selling the SEC at every opportunity. The tweets from Sportscenter highlighting an SEC team at #11 (UF) one week and then leaving off an ACC team at #11 (FSU) the following week is one of many examples. They are always pumping up the SEC at every opportunity because as we know, it's to their financial advantage (SEC Network) to further the narrative that the SEC remains the most dominant conference in college football... even though they haven't won a National Championship in 2 years. But I digress...

But what about the fact that like the SEC, the ACC also has a contract with ESPN? There is an ACC game of the week on Thursdays or Fridays. And nearly every FSU game is on either ESPN, ABC, ESPN 2, ESPN News, or WatchESPN. If a company was in business with multiple clients and the company was favoring one client over another (and actually publicly attacking the client), you can be sure that the aggrieved client would immediately cease working with that company. So why does the ACC allow it to happen?

Dot and Ira - this is a question for Swofford or Wilcox the next time you talk to them.
