I got OJT as part of my scholarship at FSU so I worked at Strozier.

I remember the day they set up the first computers for the Internet.

I think the first FSU forum I joined as Seminole Territory. They has a forum called The Bucket, which was weird but whatever.

First forum, yes, first Nole website, no.
I think the first website was Seminole Territory. Was still getting the Osceola via snail mail.

Warchant.com

It was in the late 90's. I have been through the moves to/from the Rivals network. At one point I think I was also part of an FSU forum on AOL, but since i only had AOL for about 6 months that didn't last.

Gonoles.net and fsunoles.org circa 1997 or so. Strozier had the big crt monitors and we had to use the telnet program to access our @garnet.acns.fsu.edu email accounts on dial up or the library's dedicated ds1 line.

Tribal Council, I think. I learned to seek other boards quickly...early to mid 2000s ?

I honestly don't remember. I think maybe Osceola had an old one before Warchant? But if not then it was some of the forums on here.

THIS site was called fsunoles.com before they were asked to change it. Then it moved to rivals, then away from rivals and then finally back.

Before that, Dot had a couple of pages on something I think was called talweb. Before that I think there was an "official" message board which was so early you would check back in 24 hours to see if anyone replied to you. Before that I was on some AOL message boards/chat rooms.

First Noles board was this one. Only other FSU board I (rarely) go to is the board that shall not be named....

I started FSUNoles.com the 1st day Gene started it, I used to follow him when he random posted on other sites. I helped him with his 1st ever party at AJs during his 1st football season. As far as I know Gene was the 1st person to ever have a website and message board strictly for one school

espn (fsu mb) / tn followed by wc. espn closed down their mb and tn just isn't the same to me and rarely go back.

I think it was FSUnoles, and then Warchant, back on the old Rivals in the latest 90's.

It's still around as The Territory, and The Bucket is still alive and kicking.

Surprised how many started there. I was a mod at the end. The guy that ran that board tried to branch out to other schools but it didn't catch on. Then he just walked away and abandoned the whole thing.
