What's the purpose of life?

Like many things, there's no singular answer. I'll start the list though...

In all seriousness, to ask what the purpose of life is implies a few things, like that we all have the same purpose, or that there's a purpose at all, or that there's some cosmic or omnipotent force that's set us upon some path with a preordained purpose.
I don't buy any of that. The purpose of your life is whatever you decide it to be, each of us can have a different purpose, or none at all if you so choose. We're just complex organisms out here, trying to do things, as likely to have a purpose in life as the wasp that bit you or a stray cat.

I think the purpose of life is being a good steward to others in your personal and professional life. Whatever you do and wherever you go remember to smile, treat people fairly, and with love.
My favorite saint by the way is Saint Teresa of Calcutta. Talk about living a purpose driven life.

Well, all I'm saying is that I want to look back and say that I did I the best I could while I was stuck in this place. Had as much fun as I could while I was stuck in this place. Played as hard as I could while I was stuck in this place. Dogged as many girls as I could while I was stuck in this place.
M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations. And, finally, here are some completely gratuitous pictures of penises to annoy the censors and to hopefully spark some sort of controversy, which, it seems, is the only way, these days, to get the jaded, video-sated public off their <redacted> arses and back in the sodding cinema. Family entertainment? Bollocks. What they want is filth: people doing things to each other with chainsaws during tupperware parties, babysitters being stabbed with knitting needles by gay presidential candidates, vigilante groups strangling chickens, armed bands of theatre critics exterminating mutant goats. The purpose of life is to somehow find the way to reduce hotel prices on game weekends. 
In my understanding, the purpose and meaning of life is to live out God's will for you. That's St. Bobby's hopeful self proclaimed desire to be remembered. Absolutely nothing about football.... The man gets it and has always had his priorities in order. And, also, giving meaning and ultimate purpose to our past or current suffering (such as this year's 3-3 record and the ACC officiating) in order to help others in any way or fashion we can. The purpose of life is to watch and revel in the insanity exhibited everyday on the TC. The cannibalism shown on a daily basis is very amusing. Waiting for the weekly thread on what uni combo the team will wear on Saturday just makes my day. Also on the PRB watching the meltdown when a high school kid doesn’t pick the Noles the comments about everything imaginable that caused an 18 yr old to go somewhere else.

I've been doing great. Thanks for asking. There was a poll earlier over whether or not I should be banned here.
I left HROT a few months ago and haven't looked back.
Yeah, I saw the poll but it was already closed. I would have voted to bring you back. You know how I feel about banning people. I honestly just stopped here by happenstance. I haven't been on this board since they axed the Raucous Caucus back in the day. Man, that was a great board. We were just a bunch of castoffs that nobody wanted to deal with. Then they didn't even want us on the site anymore. I saw one guy hawk4ffbb....whatever his name was tried to post something about CNN and it was squashed almost immediately. HAH!
I still drive-by HROT every six months or so to see how many times I get mentioned. It always makes me laugh when they start accusing other people of being me.
