If JW had returned we would probably be ranked top 5 for sure, maybe 2-4th. The debate would of centered around all the talent around him and how much better our defense will be, plus our easy schedule would of been part of the narrative for sure.
Polls like the ESPN power one would have had us much higher.

The point of my post is not to say how much we are going to miss JW, instead it is to point out how a player like EG has a chance to step in and be almost as effective as JW would have been, given the exceptional talent at his disposal. The advantage EG has is our much improved defense this year vs last year.

The "2016 is our year" is misleading because it might end up that 2015 is our year because of the experience at QB-AKA EG.

The media has forgotten how much they likes EG and that was with NDs roster, now he has our roster, one that clearly is way better than his first. Another way to say it, FSU received no bump in preseason rankings due to the arrival of EG. Before EG we were around 8, same after. Had JW stayed then we would of been 3/4, so EG should of got us up to 5/6. We are going to demolish Texas State then USF, granted these are weak teams but the way we win will turn heads. EG for Heisman will start to circulate. pass the koolaid
