Wake up War Chant, great show btw, has been talking about boosters this week.
They talked about FSU only having 13,000 boosters (I believe 13,000). That number seemed incredibly low to me. But then I divided that number by Doak seating capacity and it comes out to an average of 6 tickets per booster....which seems reasonable.
So then it made me wonder. Why would anyone by incentivized to become a booster if they can’t make it to games?
So I’m wondering, who gives money to the athletics program but does not attend games?
And if you are, what is the motivation to be a booster? Do you sell the tickets, give them to clients, use it as a tax deduction, etc.
Just curious...thanks!
