While very true, I'm pretty sure Sam is way up after the last couple of years.

I don't want to get in to his personal finances and such, but having known SamE for a while I think I am ok in saying that his situation is more that of those you used to see when poker was televised more often. Not to that level by any means, but it wasn't all his money that was being put up for tournament entries, plus there were swaps and pieces of each other that he and a few others had that evened out the ride.

This past stretch though has been pretty good for him. I know he has had a profitable past two WSOPs. Damn near won a bracelet too.
