It was a flash in the pan gimmick offense that worked for a few select teams with a few select players. Defenses figured it out and it became completely ineffective.

Why the heck does a certain segment of our fan base bring it up every offseason? This drives me nuts. Anytime we get a new skill position player we get people coming out of the woodworks talking about them running the wildcat.
Jimbo won't run it, nor should he. I hope we can stop bringing it up everytime we sign a WR or RB that knows how to remotely throw a football.
