Why is it in college football that some position coach also gets tasked with running an entire unit of the team? A unit that has more players on it than either of the offense or defense. A unit that also doesn't have any true assigned assistant coaches.
I've never understood this. Seems like a silly way to dole out coaching responsibilities.
So we need a DE coach and a DT coach... but we can't get a Special Teams coach?
Graham is a fabulous RBs coach, but why should he also be tasked with running teams?
