Why do we need multiple conferences, each with it's own set of rules and agendas. Why not create one league, The College Football League.
You have the NFL. Why Not College Football League (CFL).
With one league there would be total control over scheduling. Each year it would allow for scheduling interesting matchup rather than playing the same old teams every year. (Obviously, the rivalries would continue).
You could have more control over logistics so travel distances can be controlled.
Also, one set of rules governing the NIL, Transfer Portal, Recruiting ect.
