Will a HD Antenna around the stadium?

Anyone have any experience. For years we have brought the direct TV box, but this year the box is not available so I was wondering if I picked up one of those HD antennas form Wally World and still brought the TV if I could at least get the main stations. Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
