I never understood how it lasted as long as it did. The end has been announced. RIP.

Some remnant of the HOF will continue in Pinehurst, and, in fact, some artifacts in St. Augustine have already been shipped there. Interesting.

The PGA tour and World Golf Hall of fame are separate entities. The PGA tour HQ is located at the TPC course near the beach. The WGH was an artificial commercial development off I95 interchange. I live nearby. Though the golf courses around WGV in St. Johns at that site, the WGHF and adjacent commercial entities never really took off. I think the hall of fame and museum part just felt too artificial and out of place. Trying too much to be a tourist destination that really wasn't.

Restaurant is still there. Had lunch there last week.
