Happy Cinco De Mayo/ Cinco De Sam

It's been a while since I posted anything. I'm mostly a lurker these days. Just wanted to let some of the old timers know that our son Sam will be celebrating his 9th anniversary of end of treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma tomorrow on Cinco De Mayo. Since his 5th anniversary, we've called it Cinco De Sam. I know many on here supported us during his treatment and all of it was greatly and is greatly appreciated. He is now 20 years old and just completed his sophomore year at FSU. He's doing well as is our entire family. So, if you're out celebrating tomorrow maybe raise a glass of your favorite beverage and celebrate this wonderful occasion with us.

Enjoy!! I'll definitely be hoisting a few tomorrow. Heading to St.Pete to celebrate with family and over to Orlando Monday for checkups at Arnold Palmer Hospital. His last time there seeing his doctors and nurses will be emotional. On to adult follow ups and the rest of his life after this. We are blessed.
