UF is making $6 million just for changing their basketball arena's name from The Stephen O'Connell Center to the Exactech Arena at Stephen O'Connell Center.
USF just signed a 10 year deal to change their name from the Sun Dome to the Yuengling Center.
Miami has been playing in the Watsco Center for a few years now.
Why in the world would we insist on playing in an arena named after a UF grad when we could make millions of dollars by changing the name? Surely we will change the name eventually, why not sooner rather than later?
