Kupper on player development and his position: It involves anything that has to do with life. Hopefully guys in the time that they're here grow as men. Put out a product that represents FSU. Make sure that they answer and uphold promises made in recruiting. Be great citizens the rest of their lives.
On reaching out to former players, said they reach out to every one and they get about 30 or so former players each Friday and they interact with the team during team activities. Kupper said current players want to come to FSU because of the accomplishments of former players.
Next he spoke on some events at the next home games. There will be a toy drive for the holidays at one of the next two home games.

Next up is FSU senior DE Keir Thomas.
Said playing Clemson, his main rival at South Carolina, he "had an extra fire up his behind" coming into the game.
He tries to be there for the younger guys because he's played a lot of ball and seen a lot of things. Anything he can do to help he does.
On playing at Miami Central: Coming from there, you are a few steps ahead. They teach you how to be a young man early.
Said he never visited South Carolina. Was going to go to Auburn but Muschamp got the HC job at South Carolina, so he followed him. Liked what he was doing with the DL. Has no regrets.
On coming to FSU: Said Odell was one of the first guys to call him. Said he was committed to FSU coming out of high school. FSU was always a place that he wanted to be. Everything came full circle. When Norvell reached out to him, it was over and he was coming he said.
On N.C. State: played against them his sophomore year. Said they have a good offensive line and this OL will be one of the best that they have played. They have a good team.

Norvell said guys came out with really good energy at Tuesday's practice. Clemson game was a hard fought battle. Guys came with great focus today. Excited to be back at home. Need a great week of preparation.
Knew that the Clemson game would be a great challenge. For them is was about playing their game. Offensively they were able to move the ball in the first half, create some big plays. Defense continued to respond throughout. Margins between defeat and victory are thin. They need to get better.
On RB Lawrance Toafili's explosive play: Jordan did a great job of identifying the defense, had a great pass. Toafili's back half of the play was one of the most remarkable plays he's ever seen.
On DE Jermaine Johnson's TD: Huge play, great job. To have the awareness to pick it up and get in the end zone. Was a huge mark in that game. Jermaine is playing at a very high level. Because of preparing in practiced. Also named Fabien Lovett and Robert Cooper, and Keir Thomas has been a great leader as well. On Thomas, he shows a lot of heart and lifts up young freshmen, that's the mark of a great teammate.
On defense in the red zone: Been able to create some takeaways, force some wayward kicks, and have some goal line stops. That's something that is a sign of their growth. He's really pleased with that.
Norvell said Clemson game was a very physical game: Thought our guys played really hard. It's a game of inches. Our guys gave great effort, just came up a couple plays short. Every time they step out on the football field, they are going to give everything they have. That includes being physical.
On N.C. State, it will be a great challenge. Their defense is multiple and very physical.
On, Establishing the run, the run game game is part of that physicality. Something they have to do to achieve success.
N,C, State is very experienced, very comfortable in what they do. They fly all over the field. Offensive line is one of the best they've faced this year. Going to be a three course game. All three phases will have to make impact.
Said he believes in this team. They have the excitement to get better, that's what you want to see. They need to have a great week of continued preparation.
Said Clemson's honoring of Coach Bobby Bowden speaks to the impact he had on the ACC and the sport of college football as a whole, not just FSU.
