When he first entered the WWF, he paired with Ric Flair in the 93 survivor series. In one of the great post natch interviews, Flair is going berserk with Gene Oakerland (sp) after flair/Ramon lost. Ramon gets the Mike and goes.....

It does not sound funny, but it was, in the moment, a laugh out very loud line. And I still quote it to my friends....

Must have hit something major while operating. Was on life support post surgery.
I think, stress think, that he had some heart issues prior to the hip surgery. Maybe even had a heart attack.
