FSU sports information:
Florida State volleyball seniors Audrey Koenig and Khori Louis were named to the All-ACC First Team on Monday evening. FSU was one of four schools to have multiple players on the All-ACC First Team joining Pitt, Louisville and Stanford. Koenig and Louis become the first FSU duo to be named First Team All-ACC in back-to-back seasons since Payton Caffrey and Taryn Knuth in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Koenig has been phenomenal for the Seminoles all season as she leads the team with 393 kills which is the most she has had in a season as a Seminole. Koenig also leads the team with 49 aces which is the most by any Seminole since Mira Djuric in 2009. The Wesley Chapel, Florida, native was a model of consistency throughout the season as she had a school record 25 consecutive matches where she recorded 10 or more kills. Koenig was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season on Sept. 30 following two wins over rival Miami and on Nov. 11 after wins against Wake Forest and NC State. Koenig also became the sixth FSU player to reach 1,000 kills in the rally scoring era and is currently second in program history with 1,350 kills.
Louis has solidified herself as not only one of the top middle blockers but one of the best players in the country. The Tallahassee native is second on the team behind Koenig with 328 kills which is the most she's ever had in a single season. More impressively, Louis is hitting at a very efficient clip as she leads the ACC with a .427 hitting percentage - a mark that also ranks 11th in the country. Louis is well on her way to breaking Brianna Barry's career hitting percentage record as Louis is currently hitting .383 in her career. Louis also leads the team with 128 blocks and 1.14 blocks per set. This is the first time Louis has averaged more than 1.00 block per set in her career. Louis became just the second Nole to win the AVCA/GameChanger National Player of the Week award on Nov. 26 following a great weekend in wins against Georgia Tech and Clemson. Louis was also selected as the No. 6 overall pick in the PVF Draft by the Atlanta Vibe.
