Football Recruiting Some FSU targets (and commits) expected in Miami for game

It's no secret that Miami will be packing Hard Rock on Saturday with a ton of recruits from South Florida to watch the game vs. Florida State. While Florida State is a three touchdown underdog, a competitive performance in Coral Gables may do some good to halt some of the downward trajectory in recruiting that this season has created.

Here are some of the names expected:

Softball Observations, thoughts on FSU softball newcomers from Saturday exhibition

In my opinion, they should take a pretty decent step forward from last season. The depth on the mound, and dependable starters should be improved, there should be more experience in the field, and the hitting order may be a real problem for most teams. Beachum and Torres proved they were more than ready to play at this level and will already be leaders on this team as sophomores.

Now. . .how high is their ceiling? Who knows, at the end of the day the only question is, can they beat Oklahoma?

It's a topic for another thread, but college softball may be the sport most greatly affected by NIL. With the CWS in Oklahoma every year, there is a true financial benefit for locals for Oklahoma softball to be great, local boosters and business will surely kick in tons of money to keep Oklahoma at an elite level. We will probably never be able to know just how much more money Oklahoma's softball collective has than the next tier of schools. . .but I'd be willing to wager it is significant.
