20 year olds or getting a double lung transplant!

There are always exceptions. I live in GA and the average age of Death due to Covid-19 is 73.2. We also had a 19 year old pass away from it.

I did find this paragraph interesting in the article. Seems like an important fact.

She was healthy before she contracted the coronavirus, Dr. Bharat said. She had had a minor illness that required her to take a medication that suppressed her immune system somewhat, but it was not clear whether the drug made her especially vulnerable to the virus.

Funny, you stated the fact out of the gate. Facts are, over 99.9% of COVID-19 deaths are seniors and/or have more than 2 underlying medical conditions. You pull one example that's mitigated at that. And people wonder why everyone is living in fear.

I is not 99.9% I have posted CDC tables on this multiple times. Also if we expand pad mortality then 40% of hospitalizations for COVId 19 are under the age of 55. You are dead wrong and can correct yourself by simply going to CDC website. Carry on though, don’t let facts get in the way of your opinion.

I also k ow 10 people that have died from COVid and only one was over 40. Granted they were paramedics, doctors and nurses but they were all healthy and most were in their 20s.

yeah, you can get sick without dying. Much lower risk for younger people but it’s still there and deadlier than flu across Every age group. I linked CDC tables before. Kind of like this person that will need a double lung surgery. 30 year olds are stroking out at 10 times the normal rate due to blood clots. My aunt just went on dialysis from it because it destroyed her kidneys. Ober 400,000 children under age 15 have gotten the equivalent of Kawasaki’s disease after contracting COVid which shut down your organs. Yeah you don’t die but your F*** for the rest of your life if you have symptoms sever enough to be hospitalized.

My point is all the Florida rednecks on here saying let the whole team just get it now because it’s not going to hurt them aren’t correct. Also there are 5 cases of people in the country that have been reinfected. Super rare but people on here tend to get all in absolutes with there uninformed opinions.

Sounds like you know better than the NCAA, the ACC and FSU. Can’t understand why they won’t listen to you. You don’t sound crazy or agenda driven at all

You KNOW 10, or you know OF 10? It seems like you are not letting the truth get in the way of a good story

I think there is one thing you can be very sure of, these governors would not be opening back up if the data told them not to. The risks are too high. People are freaking out about the number of positive tests. It's going to happen with more testing. A guy I work with got sent home for 2 weeks because his wife tested positive for Covid-19. She didn't have any symptoms. She got tested because she had a medical procedure scheduled and the test is routine. Two weeks later, they go get tested again. He is still negative and she is still positive with no symptoms. We had to let him come back to work. But he is living at home with a Covid-19 positive wife with no symptoms. I bet that's weird.

I believe it 400,000 children got Kawasaki's like disease we would have heard about it. It's called MIS-C and a recent article stated a total of 200 kids have gotten it.
"A recent survey counted over 200 instances of the disease, but with total coronavirus infections surpassing 5 million confirmed cases worldwide, experts say this illness is still quite rare and that the vast majority of patients have so far responded well to treatment. Most have fully recovered."

Here is your CDC tables for hospitalizations:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/covidview/index.html

Cumulative rate per 100,000 for 18-29 year olds: 23.7

For 65 + 254/per 100,00 (over 10 times the rate for the 18-29 age group)

For 75 to 84 year old 307/per 100,000

For 85 + 470/per 100,000

In a country of 335MM people, 26,623 people have been hospitalized.

The virus exists. But it's not what we're told. I literally know not one single person hat has been hospitalized. Only one person I know has been diagnosed. Sorry for those you know that passed but I'd bet they had underlying health conditions. COVID-19 simply doesn't kill healthy young people and that's indisputable.

CDC? You mean the CDC that actually, literally promoted fake numbers? The same CDC that said use masks, don't use masks, use masks? The same CDC that said it's okay to protest but not for people to play doubles tennis? The one that said it's easily transmitted and then it isn't? That literally changed the way they count cases as never before? THAT CDC?!?! Garbage in, garbage out.

"Truth be told, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has already indicated that COVID-19 deaths are not being recorded based on definitive confirmation that the virus caused death in a given decedent. “In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID–19 cannot be made, but it is suspected or likely, it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate as ‘probable’ or ‘presumed’,” the CDC advises in its April guidance for recording COVID-19 deaths. “In these instances, certifiers should use their best clinical judgment in determining if a COVID–19 infection was likely.”

No one says that. Interesting article. If you had bothered to actually read it you note she was on medication that suppressed her immune system when she got infected. Glad she was able to get new lungs, since hers were toast.
Would rather just sit on their soapbox and try and prove a point then actually research anything past the headline.....

You uninformed people get so angry with facts. I’m simply pointing out facts to offset the uninformed spouting their opinions as fact. Take it easy, read a book, try to educate yourself and consider other points of view that may be different than your own without having to jump sophomoric responses.

I never said one way or the other if things should be shut down (again, read a book, work on that reading comprehension game). Simply trying to educate the masses of uninformed on here. But you do you, Merica!!!! (Ironically your position is more in line with Marxism. Only your point is valid and when you are incapable of productive discord just say something so close minded like you did. I’m guessing this is all wayyyyy over your head though. Good luck buddy.

I am from Jacksonville. It doesn’t get more red than that. You being a New Yorker would take offense and good job defending the red necks that need your superiority to come to their defense. Always great seeing elitists defend those they patronize.

Can someone please tell me about this evil “agenda” of the CDC?

I'm the elitist? Do you even read your posts?

I don't care where you from, doesn't make it ok to sound so ignorant. You can make your point without it, can't you?
