I took a moment to put together a breakdown of viewership between the ACC / SEC / BIG as they currently sit assuming ND is an ACC member. I used a range from 2015-2019 and a listing of the top teams "available" from the PAC/BIG12 as we sit today.
This is based on viewership numbers from this site:
Over this larger sample size, the discrepancy is not nearly as large as the 2021 numbers alone suggest.
The biggest surprise is the number of eyeballs on really bad teams in the SEC / BIG.
