Here is how our defense currently ranks:

Passing Defense - #55
Red Zone Defense - Tied #78
Team Passing Efficiency Defense - #51
Sacks - Tied #38 (2.5 per game)
Turnovers Forced - Tied #92 (8 turnovers)
Third Down Defense - #56 (34%)
Opponents Touchdowns Allowed - 11
All stats taken from the official NCAA website and up to date as of 21 October.
I will admit I have been the biggest Charles Kelly critic on this board, although I don't outwardly voice it that much with posts or replies. Looking at these numbers and considering how much we have lost on the defensive side of the ball the past two years I have to say I am impressed with these numbers.
I know that stats aren't the end all be all and we have not played any offensive juggernauts, but I am guessing our defense isn't as bad as I have thought. Add to that the injuries we have (Smith, Andrews, Featherston, Marshall) and overall we have a pretty solid defense. However I'm still concerned with the schemes and playcalling on certain situations.
As long as we continue to improve and our key players return from injury I think we have a chance to be a very good defensive team down the stretch. The only legitimate offensive team we have left on our schedule is Clemson.
Undefeated is definitely not out of the question!
