Florida State's administration (Thrasher, Burr and Coburn) spoke to some high level boosters via a conference call this morning to discuss the Mike Norvell hire. Here are a few nuggets from the meeting.
- Flight from Memphis with Norvell is about to leave. So he'll be arriving in Tallahassee in a couple hours.
- According to FSU president John Thrasher, Mike Norvell was the clear choice and the only person they made an offer to.
- Norvell was apparently an FSU fan growing up in Dallas.
- Thrasher had a four-hour meeting with Norvell last week. Ed Burr also met with him.
