After yesterday’s announcement, I can see more and more of the dominant football members being willing to vote for abolishing the 2036 GOR’s ball-and-chain shackle which was designed to hold the conference together. The potential money on the poker table just tripled after the USC and UCLA defection announced yesterday. Like I said in my other post, you can bet a conference call with all the ACC ADs was conducted yesterday and that’s not productive or spinning your wheels unless the GORs is on the table.
