Hypothetically let's say you could only choose one. And by significant, we're assuming that you have the essentials of a roof over your head, food, clothing, and transportation.

About to pay off house, car notes and be personally debt-free. Was thinking that 2020 should be a good time to get a Rolex. A timepiece that will continue to maintain its value over the years and could be handed down in the future.

Don't have many huge material desires honestly. Not a fan of the "one or the other", I tend to do a little of everything. I always donate to charity (even if a small amount), FSU (different areas, not just athletic), and occasionally give myself something.

But I'm in on a $50 baseball facility and put a new FOF facility where the old baseball facility is :)

Donate 20% of the price of the Rolex and invest the rest. Then donate 20% of the returns indefinitely. Then hand down the investment and the philosophy.

I would invest it so that I can support more charities and also purchase things I want when I don’t have to choose between the two or worry about the impact to my bottom line.
