The '02 season when we played N.C. State and McPherson got the start... Does anyone remember him playing like he was intentionally throwing the game? It was just a couple days after that game that he was dismissed from the team for gambling allegations. I remember watching the game against NC State and I couldn't believe how bad he was overthrowing or under throwing wide open receivers and just playing horribly. If memory serves me correct, he was benched late in 2nd half. It just makes me wonder if he actually did the unthinkable and threw the game to cover gambling debts. That was right about the time that the "lost decade" began. The program just seemed to tailspin from there. Anyway, just wondering what some of you guys thought..
