Advice on attending DSU game

Hey all,

I have been a FSU fan all my life having been born and raised in Florida. I currently reside in a small town in Southwest GA where my daughter is in her senior year of high school. She plays in the band and they are attending Band Day. Her band director jokingly asked me if I was going and I politely told him try and keep me away as I have never been to Doak Campbell Stadium. One of my biggest regrets after high school was not attending FSU. Oh how I wish I could go back in time. But anyhow, I will be riding the school bus with them so I don't have to pay for parking and will probably be required to as a chaperone. Any advice on what to do or see while I am there would be greatly appreciated. I have been a long time observer of this board just never really posted much. We will definitely be taking a pic at the Unconquered statue.

A quick witty story to finish this post. My brother (who is a major fan also), lives in a suburb of Atlanta and was at a local Kroger with his FSU hat on one day. A customer approached him and asked him if he was a big fan. My brother replied, "The only way I could become a bigger fan was if I gained weight". I thought that quote was so spot on. Go Noles!

Sod cemetery is on the opposite side of the stadium from the Osceola/Renegade statue, between practice fields and baseball stadium.

My brother told me a while back he saw a stat where Lawrence Dawsey in his 10 year tenure with FSU has put 2 receivers in the NFL. Can anyone confirm or deny this stat?

I think it was two receivers drafted -- right now Rashad, KB, Travis Rudolph are all in the league -- regardless his track record isn't stellar for a coach with access to FSU's facilities, brand name, and recruiting base.

At the end of last season we had 2x as many kickers in the league as we did WR :/
