Air Force was penalized 7 times for 95 yards. MSU 6-38.
MSU did a better job on 3rd down - 7-14 compared to 3-9 for AFA.
AFA had 279 yards rushing and 149 yards passing.
AFA also had more first downs.
The #2 (?) team in the country won by 14, and their defense didn't look great. They also couldn't run at all on AFA.
Just wanted to point it out. It doesn't lessen our own flaws, but I think it shows all these teams have their own issues, we aren't the only ones.
