Alabama star Brandon Miller provided gun used in shooting

Very loose correlation there. Lots of folks don't care for Soros that doesn't make them anti Semitic.
What’s your point?
That there’s an exception to every rule?
The poster I addressed is no exception to the rule that random insertion of George Soros into unrelated message board threads by long-proven racists/bigots tends to be charged with anti-Semiticism.
He got the reaction he hoped to provoke.

Yep. Looks like he did.

Oh by the way I read that Miller played last night and hit the game winner.

The radicals always resort to cries of "racist," "bigot," "sexist" and/or "anti-semitic" -- or other inflammatory labels -- when they cannot address something on the merits.
Inflammatory labels like “radicals”? After reading your posts for the better part of a decade, the continued hypocrisy and lack of self awareness is very obvious.

Typical response, and more desperation to avoid the real issue here.

There is bit of an important distinction -- especially in the current climate -- between calling someone a "liberal" or "radical" and calling someone a "racist/bigot/sexist/anti-semite." The transparent attempt to cancel or discourage any contrary opinion is obvious, but that's the currency your crowd uses.

Like I said, you have been doing you on these boards for a decade or more. No one is “canceling” you. But your words, labels and overall contempt speak for you.
And I have said what I want regarding the “real issue” and engaged with other posters respectfully. I’m just not interested in hashing it out with you knowing what I know and what it will lead to.

I find you to be equally odious, and I generally try to avoid you. I can promise you our paths would never cross in real life. But if/when you call me out, I will blast back, every time.

To me it’s simple, was it Millers gun? I read something today that seemed to imply it wasn’t his gun just that he had it. If it’s his gun and he just gave it to someone he absolutely should be held somewhat responsible for what happens. A friend asking to use/borrow/have your gun is a lot different than asking to borrow a lawnmower or power drill. But again, it does seem like it wasn’t his so I can see why he wasn’t charged and from what I’ve read they aren’t really considering charging him in the future.

Just had it? Like he just had a pack of gum or some tic tacs? Why don't they find out where the gun came from, follow the chain of custody? I don't know about you but where I live there aren't guns laying around like rental mopeds. This is part of the problem, law enforcement isn't enforcing. He was the last known "owner" of the gun unless he can prove who's it is and where it came from charge him. When they get to the next person charge them too until they get to a legal transaction.

I bought a handgun from a neighbor and even though in Florida a bill of sale isn't required (stupid) we did one anyway to protect everyone involved. I cant imagine someone buying a gun without one.

That's the line of negligence, accessory, or accomplice... the state will pin something on him.

You got to share at least one story. Have you ever wrestled a naked meth head? Is it as bad as they make it out to be on TV?
Now that I am in front of a computer, I'll give a meth story... we received a call in regards to a vehicle stopped at a green light at four lane intersection. I pull into the middle of the intersection into the on coming lane with lights on thinking someone stroked out. I get to the vehicle and the gentleman is gargling having a full on overdose. I call it in as a cardiac event, knowing he overdosed. I pull him out of the vehicle not even checking if the vehicle was in park, lesson learned... had to jump in the vehicle to stop it from rolling into the vehicle in front of it all while the gentleman is laying on his back on asphalt dying. I open hand slapped the hell out of him to see if he would regain consciousness... didn't work. When fire & rescue showed up, they popped him with Narcan & everything was fine. Of course he told them he doesn't do drugs, etc..., etc... It was just very typical which is sad.

As for funny story, we got called to a domestic dispute. An interacial gay couple who got in a fight at their RV home where hooting and hollering. As soon as we get there you see some whale of a human walk out of the RV and his boyfriend launches a toaster at his head from inside the RV. We got him on battery with a toaster lol... or atleast that's what we told him. He was a nut, threatened to piss in the backseat... pissed in the backseat... we told him that's battery on a police car. I thought his head was going to fall of his body.

I’m not the investigator, just sharing what was written in an ESPN article. I assume if the gun was Miller’s and he brought it to Miles on request that he would have been charged. The DA has been quoted as saying we don’t have anything to charge him with. I’d agree it’s a weird story of how Miller came into possession of the gun if it wasn’t his. His attorney said that it was in the backseat or something?

Look at the article I posted earlier in the thread. There's a real story about how the entire episode occurred.

Humor is fine. I'm sure you understand exactly what I'm speaking of.
I do which is why I posted this previously.

You know, this board is supposed to be fun but some of you are doing everything you can to make it anything but. I'm tired of the personal attacks and the constant attempts to prove your intellectual superiority. Some of you aren't as bright as you think but that doesn't stop you.

If you really want a board like the one moderated by the previous administration, keep it up. Otherwise, lighten the eff up.

Turns out the derelict is 19 years old, and had 28 prior arrests (including some for gun violations, burglary, grand theft, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon). Where are George Soros and Aramis Ayala so we can ask about their soft-on-criminals agendas???
Those two individuals have no effect on state laws and practices. What happened to the 3 strike rule in Florida? Back in the day I remember those billboards.................

Prosecutors thought mandatory sentencing was too harsh. There's a crazy points system now and points expire after a certain length of time of I'm not mistaken.

Miller brought the gun to the crime scene and his car, at least, was there as the bullets flew. He responded to a text asking him to bring the gun to the place of the crime. He bears a lot of responsibility because of that fact. If he doesn't respond to the text by bringing a gun that women is still alive.

So now ESPN is touting Alabama since they are the #1 seed in the NCAA tourney. Here is a snip from the article.

The top seed in the South Region, Alabama would face West Virginia or Maryland for a spot in the Sweet 16 with a win.

And how sweet that would be for a team that's gone through the ringer: former teammate Darius Miles and another man have been indicted on capital murder charges for a January shooting, an investigator has testified star freshman Brandon Miller was asked by Miles to bring the gun that night and police have also said Jaden Bradley was at the scene.

How sweet it would be. Wow. I remember a far different reaction to a player that said a foul word. ESPN is acting like it was a hangnail or missing luggage. The Miller kid didn't even get a suspension. Shameful.
