for a little perspective. I know I wasn't the only one who laughed out loud and was so happy when Clemson hired Dabo. I was like "who is this guy?" I was excited for the fact that we would be crushing Clemson year after year. There was no way some assistant coach could coach at a big time level.
And then, look at the A&M boards and fans right now. You think they are happy with what their 7.5 millions year gets them? Probably not, but he had the pedigree and the track record to say he was going to be successful.
Point being, I have no idea if Norvell is going to be a good coach for us. He could fail horribly or he could bring us back to where we should be. There is no way to tell one way or the other. What I do know is that as a fan I will support (and criticize) whomever decides to play or coach for my school.
Let's give him a chance before we decide he can't do the job.
