Ah, GOT... that's on my list of things to eventually tackle, but good gawd that's an investment of time. Luckily, the Rangers will be crap this year, so I'll have 162 days of time to invest. Download some episodes for the flights to TPA and back from JAX... and I should be able to get a full season in for each trip from Dallas to St. Augustine. Seems do-able to catch up by the fall season.

GOT is good. I resisted it for a long time but finally broke down and watched it. I struggled through season one, spending more time on my phone than watching. But after that it got more entertaining and I got into it. Worth watching...

Just want to drop this here, for people who follow the TV threads. I've previously recommended Fortitude season one on Amazon frequently and enthusiastically, which I still stand by.

Just finished Season 2...holy crap. I probably can't stand by that one...while Season 1 was pretty high on the gore meter, Season 2 is absolute extreme gore at points...including a scene that's probably right up there with the most disturbing things ever on a TV show. If you've had the misfortune of seeing it, you know what I'm talking about...real mondo extreme horror stuff.

There's still a lot of good stuff in the show, I like the acting and the characters, but in addition to kind of crossing the line horror wise, it's really all over the place in terms of narrative, and turns up the craziness considerably, to the point of really being pretty impossible to keep up with. Not what I would consider a really strong follow up season.

More disturbing than than Shirley’s mother-daughter “bonding” scene in the kitchen? That looked like it was really happening and unlike anything I’ve seen. A couple episodes into season 2 and enjoying it so far.

In my opinion...not even in the same universe haha. You'll know it when you see it, I'm sorry to have spoiled anything and having you looking out for it now.

Definitely finish it, since you like me are invested in the universe. I was more worried about someone coming across it, remembering someone on the locker room recommending it, and then calling authorities on me.

OK - WTH goes through a writer’s mind to some how weave that into the story. Kudos on the special effects, but that was just sick.

Just finished episode one and I like what I’ve seen so far. I love Blade Runner and all the comments comparing AC to it intrigued me.
