We've had some time to chew on the ACC Settlement and what it will mean to Florida State and to the ACC in the short term and in the long run.
How much will this settlement allow FSU or Clemson to close the $30 million annual gap with SEC and BIG programs?
How much can the new Viewership incentive close the gap?
How much additional revenue can be gained from the Success Initiative?
Did you know that ACC schools now keep 100 percent of playoff money, while SEC and BIG conferences still have to split with the other members in their conference?
How much will it cost to get out in 2026 or as soon as another conference expresses interest?
Are the viewership and success initiatives in this settlement an indication there is a paradigm shift on Tobacco Road toward football investment?
Would any of this have happened if John Swafford was sitll commissioner?
Will these huge viewership and success incentives inspire other ACC schools to invest in football?
Will those viewership and success incentives inspire FSU to invest more in basketball?

We address these and other questions in this article.
