Are all State Offices in FL still closed?

All are open, just not to the public. Some are allowing folks to come in, but usually in a structured fashion. Appointments, etc... Most still have a majority of folks working from home.

My unit was considered essential and we have been in the office every weekday and on call some nights and weekends. We're not alone.

Oh okay. One of my friends won something on a scratch off ticket and it’s just over what you can get at the retailer- they’re not wanting to mail it in and have been waiting for the Lottery office to open up over there.

I’ve been told that some if not all District Offices have a drop box (Miami Lakes for sure) that your friend could drop off their claim. I believe the turnaround would be significantly shorter than the mail...they are processing hundreds of claims per week in South Florida. A call to the Jax District Office would get the correct intel...they’re open 8-5, M-F.
