I remember I wrote a threat mentioning the spear before.
I work about 1 miles from St John Bosco (the "Braves" is their mascot), and for years, recognized their spear symbol as a replica of FSU's.
Now today, I saw a hoodie with "Fear the Spear" on it - and was wondering:
1) if this expression is trademarked by FSU (or Nike)
2) if the spear itself is trademarked
3) how does the university handle it when high schools in FL (or, in my case, CA) use the trademarks without express permission from FSU - or can high schools get permission to use them instead
