Heading to NYC this weekend and gonna check out this show. I've read good reviews on it and my brother worked with a few people who used to work on the show. Supposed to be a raunchy, R rated show involving puppets. Anyone been?

We saw it when it came to Tallahassee. It's a fantastic show, but definitely raunchy. There were some people sitting near us who apparently didn't know what they were coming to see and they didn't come back after intermission.

Sweet. That's what I am looking for....some good raunchy fun!

I saw it back in 2004, which was the year that it won the Tony for Best Musical. It was really good and REALLY funny. You've got to really enjoy inappropriate comedy though. I loved it.

I saw it a few years ago when off broadway while working in NYC. Got tickets 50% off at TXTS and had great seats. Funny show. We enjoyed it. One warning it is now off broadway and shares a building with a few other musicals / shows. One of the shows is an all male review that attracts the boys.from meat packing. I was completely thrown for about 10 minutes as we got there early and went to the bar and I thought I was in the West Village. All dudes, rainbow flags everywhere and we got death stares. The theater is one level lower than the bar which shares the same level as the all male review.

ho lee crap, it is very raunchy. It seems even more so by the fact that they're PUPPETS.

But it is very funny and the songs are great. I remember my reactions to some of them years later. I'd say it reminds me of TAWP due to the raunchiness combined with puppets... but it's a different kind of spoof.
