With all the uncertainty at center, I would think that redshirt freshman Baveon Johnson would get a close look as the possible answer. When we signed him in the class of '16, Rivals had him rated as the number 1 center in the nation, top 50 player nationally and top 10 in FL overall. He's 6'3", 330#, supposedly strong as an ox and quick feet for such a big kid. I assume he was redshirted needing time to pick up the system. It's a tough position to master. But he's as highly rated a center as we've ever signed.
Eberly is a question mark in multiple ways, Boselli is small in comparison and needs to get stronger. Anybody got any info on Johnson's progress and 2017 outlook? Sorry if I missed it in another thread.
