Classic Comm Ave battle for the Beanpot BC vs BU. Pumped for this annual Boston match up. The snow is a nice touch to looks great from San Antonio.

What used to be called the BU Pot, is now the BC Pot, with BC winning 6 of the last 7. What a game, 1-0 in OT. BU had won something like 15 of 20 prior to BC's run. This was the first BC/BU final since 2012 and the last time Harvard won was 1993 Northeastern last won in 1988.

I went to high school with a kid (Rich DeFreitas) who played on harvard's 1989 National Champions. He went to public school with us for a couple of years and then prep school for a couple. I think the Washington Capitals drafted him in the 6th round in 1987. I don't think he played any more hockey after Harvard.

Great tournament, one of the most fun events a sports fan can attend. Harvard and NE have had some decent teams in their dry spell, just goes to show how consistently good BU and BC have been.
