Billions - season finale

Again I just don't see that inconsistency at all. The only thing she required at all times was total honesty. It's like in season one when the stuff came up about how Axe made money while her family and friends died dealing with the 9/11 attack. They were all pissed but she had his back. Why? Because she knew. Nothing was hidden.

She also does not give up a lifestyle. As we have seen, she has 50% of everything. It was always their deal. She is wealthy beyond measure.

I am not saying they don't get back together. They could, if they can get past the trust thing. But I don't think the split is fake or unusual for who they are as a couple.

Not sure I agree with the wealthy part. When Axe tells her they might have to survive on $300 million, she freaks out.

Every time they showed her this season, she was either shopping or watching her son's baseball games where kids get dropped off by helicopter.

Found this write up about Lara's character in Season 3.

I think she will be ok with the 300M, and I am pretty sure Axe was the one who coptored the kids to practice ;)

Best show on TV right now. Great characters all around, from Chuck to Axe, Taylor, DOllar Bill, WAGs, etc. Writing is also top notch. Really enjoying this season.

There was an episode last year where the prosecutor with the Don King haircut and either Chuck or another atty where talking about nailing Axe on the gun charge. In the background, "Lawyers, guns and money" was playing. It's the small details like that and the metaphors that make the writing great.

Fantastic show. I saw this thread pop back up and thought I was behind. Well done whoever resurrected it

Thought season 3 finale was great. Interesting setup going forward.

Yep. I really felt like the end of the Ice Juice IPO was going to be the finale and so this season really had 2 conclusions.

Looking forward to next season.

I didn't like Taylor at beginning of the season, but by the end of the season I really liked her character. Also, really enjoyed Chuck's arc. One step away from governor's office but alienated everyone. Season ends the opposite way.

Really enjoying the show/characters. First season was bit over the top, but two and three have delivered. I've liked Taylor from the start, but I love John Malkovich playing the Russian a la Teddy KGB.

Did anyone notice the FSU cameo? A rhetorical question, I'm sure.

This season, Billions has snagged cameos as far flung as Mark Cuban, Kevin Durant. Now, Billions has Axe have a quick run-in with SPANX founder, FSU Alum, Sara Blakely, who confirms she has no plans to take her company public. Axe, however, says to let him know if she ever changes her mind.

These last 2 seasons have been so much better than 1st season. I really didn't think I'd keep watching the show after 1st season. Felt like "Entourage" but with older people in New York.

And yes, caught the cameo from Sara Blakely

People are saying she's gonna be a recurring character next year, will become Axe's lover, he'll convince her to do an IPO, and then he'll steal all her Spanx.

Can he comvince her to donate all of her money to the FSU football team?
