It's generic, innocuous garbage. Read an article a few years ago about a "formula" that they figured out for assuring the success of these "country" songs . Very reminiscent of David Allen Coe's "perfect country and western song": the song must reference your truck, dirt roads, fishing, beer, bbq, blue jeans, etc.

I am cooking a BBQ comp in May and Isbell is the talent Friday night. Usually the musical acts at these things are awful. Will have to check that out.
