Ironman would have killed the winter soldier and Captain America when he found out what Bucky did and Cap knew all along.

This was almost a Sixth Sense moment for me. I did not see that coming. For those of you that know the comic book origin story, was this one of the storylines or was this Hollywood exercising creative license?
