I'm sure it's b/c I live under a rock, but I've never heard the name Clay Travis until I opened this thread.
Is he a Finebaum type?
He owns Out Kick Your Coverage. He's created a niche market for those that think there is too much faux outrage by the left in sports. Finebaum is apolitical - just let's callers call in to rant about the SEC.

No matter what happens for FSU, UT likely takes the cake this hiring cycle on how to poorly execute a replacement.

I actually think his radio show is pretty entertaining. He can be obnoxious for sure but most of the time I am ok with that and he's much better than any of the local idiots on the radio here.
Back to Schiano. Forget that fans didn't really like the choice from a football perspective. Fans, boosters, and politicians used the Sandusky thing as their weapon. Since only one person has said Schiano knew about Sandusky, and that was based on hearsay, is it fair to Schiano to be tagged with that reputation? The so-called source of the hearsay has denied it, and so has Schiano.
If it's true that Schiano knew, and did nothing, he is a horrible person and should not be coaching. If it's not true, then Schiano's reputation is forever tarnished. He can't sue for slander because the allegation was made as part of court testimony, and there's no way to prove the testimony to be untrue. The court of public opinion is often more powerful than the truth.

Either Broncos all day or you might find some CSU, Buffs or worse, updates on AF football. Either way, its so limited its sad. There was 1 guy I would listen to on my morning commute, Alfred Williams.
I really liked Alfred Williams too. I don't remember who else was even on the show with him.
Had to look it up, Big AL and D-Mac. I think D-Mac got a job and left Denver, but he was the talking head who mostly helped keep the convo going. Big Al really knows his stuff and is funny.
Travis is a POS, he ran his mouth about Jameis non stop as well.

Her reaction was priceless. Amusing she felt she had to spell it out. And clearly she had no idea about the background of the guy she was interviewing or would have know to expect something a little off.
You might be if you took my comment to simply be a reference to his asinine CNN interview (god knows why they had him on, what did they expect).
The guy's entire career is that of a shock jock who shamelessly plays to the lowest common denominator.
I honestly don't care for the guy much because of his aforementioned crusade against Jameis back in the day.
