FSU sports information:
The Florida State track and field teams saw seven top 10 program performances on Friday by Zianna Curtis, Tyson Williams, Micahi Danzy, Andre Korbmacher, Kaelyaah Liburd, Zach Leachman and Joe Farley.
At the Jarvis Scott Invite, hosted by Texas Tech, Curtis finished third in the women’s weight throw securing the ninth-farthest throw in FSU history with a career best of 17.21m (56-5 ¾).
Williams placed second in the men’s 60-meter hurdle semifinal, claiming the fourth-fastest time in FSU history with a lifetime performance of 7.60.
Danzy claimed the third-fastest time in FSU history with a lifetime performance of 46.14 in the men’s 400.
Korbmacher followed in third, clocking the seventh-fastest time in FSU history with a career-best of 7.65.
Liburd won the women’s 400, capturing the second-fastest time in FSU history with a lifetime performance of 52.60.
Zach leachman competed in the men’s 5,000-meter at the David Hemery Valentine invite, finishing in 51st with the sixth-fastest time in FSU history with a personal best of 13:47.11.
Joe Farley followed in 68th with the seventh-fastest time in FSU history with a lifetime best of 13:53.36.
The jumps, sprints and throws groups will conclude competition at the Jarvis Scott Invite. The women’s triple jump is expected to start at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The women’s distance team will begin competition at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday. The women’s one mile run is expected to start at 1:45 p.m.
