I'd agree with you completely if the players were competitive level but a simple 3-3-2 can cause the kids at rec level to be flat across the lines. I prefer to unbalance for new players - tends to cause them to inadvertently have better shape on the pitch.

Which club did you coach at if you don't mind me asking? I'm scared to actually quantify how much time and money I spend getting my kid to games, practices and ODP training sessions!

I coached for Genesis and the head guy there had me come in and do sessions for other teams and clubs.

I googled it, and it doesn't seem to be around anymore. I think it was in and around 2004, then again I live in a time warp.


I'm going to wait until the lil one is about 7 before I look into doing it again.
