I will be traveling to Dallas frequently for the remainder of the year and am looking for recommendations. I will staying within walking distance of Whitacre Tower downtown.

I am familiar with the area but looking for some new places now that I will be visiting more often and can take some risks. I included a list of the places I have frequented in the past:

Pecan Lodge
Cane Roso
Braindead Brewing
Uncle Uber's
Lockhart's
III Forks

Thanks in advance! I'll send nudes of your woman as payment for sharing your knowledge.

If you are a high-dollar steak guy, Nick and Sams is as good as it gets in my book. If you go to the one in Midtown, you will almost always see someone famous. First time I went Aikman was there. Last summer I ran into Matt Kuchar and few other PGA guys as they were in town for a tournament.

There is also a great bar called Happiest Hour. Definitely check that out.

I make a stop at Meso Maya every time Im in town. Fantastic Mexican downtown less than a mile from Whiteacre.

For Steaks, try Perry's Steakhouse, Nick and Sam's or Dakotas. You could try some shots at Dealy Plaza.

There was some rooftop bar/club I went to about 10 years ago after dinner at Nick and Sam's that was awesome. I don't remember the name of it, but it was rooftop indoor/outdoor place. It was a little too trendy for my liking, but had spectacular views from 40+ stories up. Maybe some of the Dallas people know where I'm talking about.

I ripped off a good portion of that act for my fifth grade talent show. My dad was sitting next to the principal and told me he was laughing to the point of not being able to breathe.
Ma...I need some toilet papah! Forgot about that special, loved it as a kid.

Post the video of the talent show, you know the parents have it somewhere

If you find yourself up north, you must check out Tight-Ends. It's a sports bar

Have you been to their newest baseball-themed location, Pitchers and Catchers?

Tight Ends is walking distance from my office. It's definitely quality.

ON... there's actually Wild Pitch about a half mile from Tight Ends. It's in Frisco, so, no, there is no alternative lifestyle involved.

E-Bar, Tex Mex a little east of downtown
There are a lot of new places in Deep Ellum now. If you haven't been here in a while it will look a little different.
