Was just curious what Alabama is losing in terms of defensive production going into the opener in Atlanta. I just looked at the first 4 rounds in the draft. They are losing more than what I am adding here, but these guys are the better players.
Johnathan Allen: 69 Tackles 16 TFLs 10.5 Sacks 2 TDS scored
Reubens Foster: 115 Tackles 13 TFLs 5 Sacks
Tim Williams: 31 Tackles 16 TFLs 9 Sacks 1 Defensive TD scored
Marlon Humphrey: 36 Tackles, 3 TFLS, 2 Int 1, Defensive TD
Dalvin Tomlinson: 62 Tackles 5.5 TFLs 3 Sacks
Tim Williams: 31 Tackles 16 TFLS 9 Sacks 1 Defensive TD
I didn't feel like adding these up because I am on my phone doing this and it took longer than I wanted. Mind you this is only the guys in the 1st four rounds on defense.
They also lose Cam Robinson, Adarius Stewart and OJ Howard in the 1st 2 rounds.
That is a ton of production that is being lost and I've read they are losing up to 15 or 16 guys. Sorry for typos if there are any. It was hard to do this on my phone.
