During the last week of the season, when conference championships are being determined and winners are boosting their resume for earning one of those 4 playoff spots, Notre Dame will be sitting at home watching on tv. Do you think they'll see the wisdom of being in a conference? By not having a chance to compete with a top tier team, when all the other top contenders are playing, the Irish are seriously limiting their chances of making the playoffs, unless they go undefeated. Could this be the issue that finally forces the Irish to become full members of the ACC?
