Dolphins fans

Well, if the Fins were actually "tanking for Tua", that may have backfired!

I have followed them since 1969. They used to show them in this market all the time. Now you barely see them on TV while the other game opposite Tampa Bay is games like Chicago vs the Rams. o_O

I was a fan in the mid 60's, remember in Orlando seeing a team on the black and white portable in the lanai and asking my big brother about it. He told me it was a new team from Miami called the "Dolphins." We moved up to the north shore of Boston in 68 and my short lived devotion to the Dolphins was beaten out of me by the neighborhood kids, lol
My shallow devotion to the Packers and and Yankees quickly left as well, you see in those days huge swaths of america didn't have geographical alliances to any teams, so you hopped on the more successful teams' bandwagons. Although a die hard Pats fan, I will always hold respect for the Dolphins and their storied tradition. So many good players, the Sundance Kids come to mind, Kiick and Czonka, right?

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and were Czonk's and Jim's nicknames. They used to say that if Griese threw the ball 20 times in a game they were passing too much because that tandum was so good. Then throw in Mercury Morris.

Griese didn't throw 20 passes combined in the two SB wins.
