First game advice

Hello everyone,

I have been tailgating and attending games since I started as a freshmen almost twenty years ago.
I plan to go to the D-state game and will be bringing my three year old son to his first game. ( I have never tailgated with children before).

I am looking for tips, advice, and any other information that would make his first game good for him.
Some of my questions include who does face paining these days?, Are strollers allowed/even a good idea? Are there any other activities that I should take part in that may not have been a priority without small children involved?

I'd say to take him in the stadium early and get his photo with Osceola, and let him see Renegade up close. And sorry to state the obvious, but be sure to bathe him in sunscreen for the noon game, the sun is magnified inside Doak.

North end of the stadium. If you enter at gate M near the Sod Cemetery and go right, you can't miss it. Osceola is there with a line for photos, and they will use your phone to take the photo. Renegade is in a stall next to the photo area.

-Tailgate where he can just pee on the ground and not have to wait in line for Port-o-let
-They usually have kid activities set up in the Langford Green area
-Not sure if you are a dude or a chick, but if you are a dude you can take him to MadSo and he will be the best wingman ever (unless you have a puppy)

Not sure where you would put a stroller, barely room to put a coke by your feet in the stands. Unless you are going to the Champions Club, in that case you will be inside the whole game anyway and can feel free to bring a stroller.

This would be a good question for someone who has been coming to games for 20 years....if only I knew that person


kidding....yeah...face paint, see the marching chiefs march down the street, and keg stands. That should make for a great first experience.
