Milton put together a nice drive down to the Wake Forest 1. But then fumbled on a QB sneak on first and goal. Wake recovered. Touchback.

Milton leads the offense down inside the Wake 15 yard line. But three tries to get two yards results in nothin and Milton was stopped on fourth down, turning the ball back over to the Demon Deacons.

FSU has to punt on its first drive after Travis was sacked on third and short, and then Wake drives right down the field to score again. Picked up another third down on a great catch. And then just marched into the end zone. Per usual. Went for two. Got it. This one is about to be a rout it feels like.

Travis runs for 24 yards on the first two plays of the drive. Then on his Hail Mary attempt, which drew an illegal formation penalty anyway, he was blasted as he threw the ball. It was intercepted. And he was really, really slow in getting up and making his way to the locker room. We'll keep an eye on that in the second half.
Seminoles ran just 26 offensive plays. Wake Forest ran 52. Yikes. Demon Deacons have 332 yards of total offense, and FSU has 174.

Wake converts a third and six. And then Brownlee gives up another 50-yard completion. Wake gets a first and goal inside the 10, but can't get it in the end zone. Brownlee with a PBU on third down and Demon Deacons have to settle for another FG.

FSU scores on the first play. Travis to Wilson for a 65-yard TD. He was wide open and Travis put it on him.

FSU has a three and out. And a short punt gives Wake the ball in FSU territory, but defense holds and forces a punt. FSU then hits a nice pass to McDonald for 23 yards, but Travis is sacked on the next play. Has to come out. And Milton throws a pick on his first pass of the drive. Wake offense again has the ball in FSU territory, and gets a first down on a Jarvis Brownlee holding call. Defense stiffens though and Wake forced to kick a field goal. Which it makes. It's a 17-point deficit, and the offense has been atrocious, but maybe - if this actually becomes a game again - we'll look back at those two series by the FSU defense as big ones.

Wake Forest goes down and scores again. Hits a couple of big pass plays, but the biggest play of the drive was a personal foul on Jarrian Jones on a three-yard completion on 3rd and 16. It was a horrible call. And it wound up costing FSU points as the Hartman then found Stewart for an 11-yard TD on another third down conversion. Wake is currently 4 of 6 on third downs.

FSU offense finally gets a first down. And a few plays later it's in the end zone. Treshaun Ward with an 8-yard TD catch on a screen pass. Well-designed play. Travis was the QB on that drive for the Seminoles. Wake committed two big defensive penalties to help the cause, but whatever it takes!

FSU defense gets a three and out. But then FSU is called for roughing the punter. It wasn't roughing, but he definitely ran into him. So Wake continues drive and just marches down the field for an easy score. All on the ground. Half came on QB runs by Hartman. This one could get ugly. Quick.

Travis series goes nowhere. Wake drives inside the FSU 20, but Jammie Robinson rips the ball out for another turnover. But FSU goes three and out again. Because why not. They had second and 1 and then Milton can't handle a snap and then Ward gets blown up on third down. So another punt.

Jordan Travis takes the first snap of the second series. Gets a yard on a run. And then Baveon Johnson gets hurt and has to be helped off the field. Darius Washington is now the center. Herring comes into play guard and DLT moves out to tackle. Yikes.

Wake turns the turnover into a touchdown in three plays. A.T. Perry just sprints right past Jarrian Jones for an easy touchdown. Just pitch and catch. 49 yards.

Well. FSU just can't have good things. Sidney Williams makes a diving interception to give the Seminoles the ball at midfield. Corbin fumbles two plays later. Wake ball right back at its own 37.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3:33 -- FSU won the toss and elected to defer. Wake will get the ball first. The game is currently on ESPNU until the Indiana-Cincy game is over. So go watch it there if you can.

3:04 -- Wrapping up pregame. And I corrected the previous note about the OL. Looks like it will Darius at LT and Brady at RT. The guards will be DLT and Gibbons, and Baveon at center.

2:58 -- Based on warmups, looks like Brady Scott at RT. Darius Washington at LT. ... Robert Scott is dressed and warming up, but have seen Brady more with the ones.

2:50 p.m. -- Still haven't seen Maurice Smith but Robert Scott is dressed and going through warmups. Guessing Maurice is out, because Darius Washington is with the centers. He could be the top backup to Baveon.

2:43 p.m. -- Good to see Pokey Wilson dressed and going through warmups. They missed him last week. Still haven't seen all the OL yet.

Also, no inside info, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan Travis have some designed packages or a defined role in this game. Just based on some things from warmups. We'll see.

2:13 p.m. -- Several of the position groups have come out for some informal warmups. Haven't seen anything out of the ordinary yet. It does look like the entire RB group is here today ... first time this season. More formal warmups should be starting asoon.

1:48 p.m. -- All of the QBs are out foir the early pregame warmups. Just stretching and doing some light throwing. Kickers and special teams guys are out early too.

-----

Corey and I here at Wake Forest for today's game (3:30 p.m., ESPN).

We'll have updates beginning when FSU's players hit the field for pregame warmups. Should be in the next half hour.
