Anyone know how to find out who's calling without having to pay some service? ...And, yes, I am cheap! Thanks for any help in advance.

"know too"?!? NoleLiz musta been a great hurry while was he typing. Who wants to come up to the chalkboard and parse this sentence?

There aren't any, that I am aware of, besides google. Google is good for companies, collectors, scams, etc. Actual individuals? Nah.

Just block the number if it's on your cell phone.

If it's on your house phone...then why the hell do you still have a house phone?

This site used to work better than it does now. There are a lot of times I see UNKNOWN instead of a name. If it can show a name it will typically show the first name of a person the number is registered to. I think there might even be an option to hear an outgoing voicemail message from the number, but that doesn't always work.

Or maybe it's because he's recently suffered a stroke. Just saying.
There are plenty of jokes to make about this, I'm sure...But typing with one hand is tiring, and typos are prevalent. I'm constantly having to go back and make corrections for errors I don't always catch right away.

I'm actually curious about this as well. Turns out I'm a victim of ID fraud. The collections folks sent me an Affidavit of Fraud with a copy of the sig page from the lease (someone got in to a lease with my credentials then bailed after 2 months) and there's a phone number there. Called from my cell and went to the generic vmail prompt.

You have to watch your butt (and I don't mean just at the doctor's office). There are creeps out there working feverishly to hack into our stuff and rob us as we speak.
