The Florida State beach volleyball team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to participate in the TCU Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The seventh-ranked Seminoles will play No. 13 Texas, No. 4 TCU on Friday, No. 12 Florida Atlantic, and Boise State on Saturday.

Florida State extended their 2025 record to 9-0 at the Seminole Beach Bash, defeating No. 15 Georgia State twice, Houston Christian, and CSU Bakersfield. The Seminoles are one of three undefeated teams in the nation. Junior Carra Sassack and freshman Bailey Higgins were named CCSA Pair of the Week after going undefeated on courts two and three. This is the first career CCSA weekly award for both Sassack and Higgins.

The Seminoles will open the weekend against the 13th-ranked Longhorns in their first matchup in program history. Texas is enjoying a 9-0 start to the 2025 season. The Longhorns are coming off a 4-0 homestretch in which they defeated Coastal Carolina 3-2, Tulane 3-2, Stephen F. Austin 4-1, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 3-2.

FSU head coach Brooke Niles is the all-time NCAA wins leader with 272. Texas’s Stein Metzger is second with 258, with 242 of those coming with UCLA from 2016-23 before starting the Texas program in 2023.

FSU will then play host TCU. Florida State leads the all-time series with the Horned Frogs 14-6, with TCU winning the last matchup 3-2 in the semifinals of the 2023 CCSA Tournament. The 4th-ranked Horned Frogs are currently 3-3 with notable wins over #5 Stanford, #11 Arizona State, and #12 Hawaii.

Florida State will open play on Saturday against #12 Florida Atlantic. The Owls are currently 7-1 with wins over #14 Washington, #17 FIU, and #13 Georgia State. FSU leads the all-time series with Florida Atlantic 16-0, with the Noles most recently sweeping the Owls in Boca Raton on March 12, 2024.

The Seminoles will conclude the weekend against Boise State. This marks the first meeting between the Noles and the Broncos in program history. Boise State is currently 3-2, most recently defeating UTEP 3-2, in El Paso.

FSU looks to continue its dominance, playing at 9:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. on Friday, and at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Live stats will be available on Seminoles.com.
