We can confirm the Rivals report that FSU is expected to hire Nebraska DC Tony White as its next defensive coordinator.

With his modified 3-3-5 defensive scheme, each of White's last four defenses at Nebraska (2023 and 2024) and Syracuse (2021 and 2022) have finished in the top 25 nationally in total defense.
